”This stay was nothing short of life-changing. Truly breathtaking and a powerful reminder that there are still incredibly good people in the world. From the moment I arrived, I felt a deep sense of peace and inspiration…it sparked a whole new vision for how I want to transform my own farm into something regenerative and sustainable.” - Winfred, South Dakota, July 25, 2025
“The ultimate goal of farming is not the growing of crops, but the cultivation and perfection of human beings.” — Masanobu Fukuoka, The One Straw Revolution
I joined the Hungry World Farm board several years ago, very early in its development. In those days the vision was both specific and broad - educate and demonstrate how to grow nutritious food in ways that rejuvenate our soils, bodies, and communities. We did not know how we would do it, but we were passionate about our underlying purpose!
For a while we searched for the best way to use our farm resources to reach people with our message. Now we are starting to see our hard work come together in meaningful and impacted ways!
In 2025 (to date) we hosted 1,400 overnight guests, and over 2,000 visitors. These guests came from across the region to experience Hungry World Farm and learn about our vision for a healthy, hopeful world through regenerative food and agriculture.

These guests saw regenerative farming in action: livestock helping to sequester carbon into the soil and increase water holding capacity. They saw produce raised for abundant nutritional content. Many of them also tasted our good food, and learned through our educational experiences and tours.
But our work is not finished!! We have new interns to teach, more forest to restore, and lots of excited guests to invite into our space!
Your gift can help us:
Develop student field trips
Fund an internship
Fix up additional guest spaces
Implement Agroforestry designs
Expand our pasture space
Build resources for self-guided tours
Facilitate connection space for dialogue
And more!
We are excited about the opportunities ahead of us this year for educating more people and impacting more lives with our beautiful farm.
Will you please consider joining our mission at HWF with a donation?
