Cub Scout Pack 183 FUNdraiser 2026

At Pack 183, we believe that ALL children should have the opportunity to experience the adventure of scouting. In order to maintain our affordable membership cost and provide our scout families with the best scouting experience, we are launching our annual Pack 183 FUNdraising Campaign. With your help, we seek to raise $1,200 that will provide multiple fulfilling opportunities for our scouts through service and adventure.

Help us get a new Pinewood Derby Track!

The annual Pinewood Derby race is a highlight of the Cub Scout's year, and one of the fondest and strongest memories for generations of Scouts. The event required special a racetrack to ensure a fair and enjoyable competition, and at Pack 183 the track we use has seen better days. Many of them, because it is literally older than all the Pack and Den leaders! For the past few years every race day has resulted in several of the Scouts' cars breaking because of the track's condition, resulting in tears and disappointment. Which is not what we are trying to achieve through Scouting! Help us keep small children from crying and instead help them make fun memories they will carry on through their entire lives.

No Scout left behind

Pack 183 is also very proud to not turn away any potential Scout because of lack of resources to pay registration fees register or purchase uniforms or gear. Your donation can help make the life-changing dream of Scouting come true for anyone who wants to pursue it.

Through Service

Pack 183 takes part in several park cleanups, food drives and service projects throughout the year, giving the scouts the opportunity to feel a sense of pride in their community and learn the value of helping those in need. The Pack partners with Baltimore Hunger Project to provide healthy snack bags to children in the Baltimore area as a supplement to their weekend meal program. This year, we were able to donate 240 snack bags thanks to the generosity of our scout families and supporters like you. Scouts also volunteer at the Victor's Vittles Food Bank organized by and hosted by the Christus Victor Lutheran Church in Parkville.

Through Adventure

Pack 183 takes camping trips three times a year where they learn much about our ecosystem, wildlife, and conservation. Outdoor adventures are an integral part of the scouting experience. Last year we were able to purchase two new tents, coolers, and cooking equipment as a result of fundraised dollars.
