The University of Wisconsin-Madison doesn't have any plans to improve air quality, as a way to help protect people during a respiratory pandemic. Air filtration, ventilation, and disinfection are all things we should be considering.

We want to start with two easy things:

1. Help people detect places with poor ventilation using CO2 meters (carbon dioxide exhaled by humans is a good proxy for how much fresh air is or is not entering a space)

2. Help people improve filtration with Corsi-Rosenthal fan+filter boxes (using HEPA filters to remove viral particles from the air)
