Effective, May 1st 2025, Conscious Homestead Fund, a fiscally sponsored project of Community Resilience Organizations, will be transferring our fiscal sponsorship to the Intervale Center. We are sending this letter to inform all of our donors so they are aware of this change and can update this information in their records.
Conscious Homestead is a learning urban homestead that centers Black & Brown land-based healing and liberation, community care and the practice of living consciously with not over the land or any of our human, animal, plant and ancestral kin. We exist to care for our immediate needs as well as to create opportunities to build a thriving future; unapologetically centering those who live at the most intersections of oppression. Founded in 2016, Conscious Homestead established the Conscious Homestead Fund at Community Resilience Organizations in 2022. This relationship has allowed our organization to grow from one to five paid staff and to develop new programming to advance our mission.
We are excited to find a new fiscal home at the Intervale Center, an organization with an aligned mission and a reputation for strong financial management.
