I'm thrilled to announce that our training program in Dambai is gearing up for a fresh start. Over the past few months, my focus has been on welcoming my family’s visits and setting up the foundational infrastructure. This time, our primary focus will be on Regenerative Agricultural Training, designed to provide invaluable hands-on experience. Dambai offers the safety and accessibility needed to reach a broader audience of enthusiastic young learners.
We've already conducted successful trial training sessions for youth and women's groups in and around Dambai, receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback. We are gearing up to open this opportunity to an even wider audience.
In January of next year, we will officially launch our comprehensive 2-year training program, and we are already receiving a steady flow of applications. I'm working diligently to recruit more volunteers and refine our curriculum. As we have a wealth of resources and training materials available online, we want to ensure that our students have easy access to these materials for self-guided learning, even when our trainers are not physically present.
Here's how you can make a significant difference:
We can acquire basic computers in the Netherlands at just Euro 60 per mini laptop. If you're inclined to support, you can sponsor any number of these laptops. I will be returning to Ghana on the 6th of October, and bringing some with me would help us avoid unnecessary transportation costs.
