What do we do?:
Located in Azua, Dominican Republic, we serve the village of Finca 6, which is a Haitian and Dominican community. The Christian based community center is for children of all ages, whether they are a toddler or a teenager. There are many children who do not go to school because they work selling goods on the streets to help their parents make money to live. We fill in the gap by providing early childhood education for young children (ages 2-6), and then provide mentoring and tutoring for the rest of the children in the afternoon, in addition to an adult literacy class in the evenings as there are many adults in the area who cannot read or write as well as a feeding program for dinner.
We are a 501(c)3 non-profit and all donations are tax-deductible.
Mission:
- Serving, loving and mentoring every child that God sends our way.
"We cared so much for you that we were pleased to share with you not only the gospel of God but also our own lives, because you had become dear to us.”
1 Thessalonians 2:8
