Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies Coalition of Hawaii (HMHB) has just launched our new program Mana Mama.
Mana Mama is a community-based midwifery model of care reaching people of Hawaii with a holistic approach during pregnancy and the baby’s first year and beyond. Clinical services are provided by our Hawaii State Licensed midwives and nurse practitioner. Mana Mama has lactation consultants on staff to help assist with any breastfeeding concerns you may have. In addition to clinical services, participants receive comprehensive phone support and referrals to resources and information, as well as referrals to HMHB’s other programs.
Please help us support expecting and new families across Hawaii. Your generosity allows us to offer perinatal resources and services, including food distribution, tobacco cessation, safe sleep education, new parent groups, mental health referrals, lactation support, childbirth education, a community-based doula program, and our brand new Mana Mama program. We are expanding our care and serving more clients, and need your help more than ever this year!
