Color Together: Civics Coloring Book & Lesson Plans

Color Together is a project I dreamed up to help me engage my own kids in conversations about local government and civic engagement.  

I partnered with local artists to create a coloring book with corresponding lesson plans, which is available for digital download. The goal is to educate young people about their local systems of government. I understand that it is my responsibility as a mother to engage my children in important conversations about voting. As a candidate, I also know I need to engage all community members, not just those with the ability to vote if we want to make a long term change in the community. I know we can do better, together. To help families start the conversation, I hope you color together, and that you can use art to spark meaningful conversations around civic engagement with your family and friends.

Feel free to print and share with friends, but please do not share the digital product online. This is a fundraiser and I need to make sure I raise enough money to compensate the talented artists!
