Join the community wall of names that helped to bring the zoo and aquarium to North Alabama.
With the Claim Your Spot program, you can select a square (or a few squares) on the grid overlaying the map of the future zoo and aquarium. This map, the claimed spots, and a directory of who sponsored the spots will have a permanent placement at the front of the zoo as visitors walk in. This will be one of the rare few chances to have your name, a love one's name, or your business displayed in front of the zoo. The map will live here virtually until the day the zoo opens its gates.

How It Works
Claim Your Spot at the Zoo: Selection and Pricing
Click on the image below to bring up a pdf to choose your desired location. Here are the pricing for each location:
- Put Yourself Inside the Zoo”: $1250 (Blue Shaded Area)
- Shops and Entertainment Area: $1000 (Orange Shaded Area)
- Arrival Areas: $500 (Unshaded Area)

Map Border Quarter Squares: $250 (The border squares on the map are divided into quarters and allocated sequentially. These quarter squares are exclusively available for individuals and families to claim.)
Instructions for Claiming Your Spot:
- Select Your Square(s): Refer to the North and East coordinates on the map to choose your location. When selecting a boarder quarter square, indicate "Boarder" as the coordinates. Claim your spots using one of the two options below.
Option 1:
- Complete the Online Form: Click the "Give" button to initiate the donation form. You will be prompted to select the donation amount based on the location of your chosen square(s). For multiple squares, you can either complete a form for each one or sum the total donation amount for all squares and enter it as a custom amount.

Option 2:
- Complete the Downloadable Form: Download this form and fill it out.
- Email development@nalzs.org with your coordinates, name, logo file, and any other questions.
Additional Details:
- Donors claiming large square or rectangular areas (3x3 or larger) can opt to display their logo or name on the map.
- Spots will be viewable on a zoomable map on the website.
- In the future, all donors will be listed in a directory along side the map with the coordinates of their spot at a prominent place in the zoo.
