At Christmas time, people in Brisbane can feel pressure more than at any other time of year. 


The Nexus Care Christmas Giving Appeal aims to offer nutritious food parcels, generous Christmas treats and back-to-school support to those in our community who struggle through the Christmas season. We want every family we meet to experience a little more joy, hope and community.


What We Know

  • During the Christmas season, the demand increases by 50% or more
  • Last year, we helped 450+ households with nutritious food parcels and Christmas treats.
  • We helped 77 local kids get back to school with all the uniforms and stationery required to get their school year off to the best start possible.

Funding from the Christmas appeal allows us to meet this need now, and into 2024.
