UPDATE: Donations for 2025 were gladly accepted through Wednesday December 9th, 2025. Any donations after that date will be contributed to the 2026 Christmas in the Wards fundraising effort.
Alderman Matt Martin is participating in Christmas in the Wards, a citywide program bringing holiday cheer to deserving families by providing 10 families in each ward with a gift card for holiday assistance.
While the Ward is happy to be able to provide gifts to 10 families, every year we have a list of additional families who need extra help to purchase gifts, and due to limited funding, are not able to participate in the Christmas in the Wards event. That's why this year the alderman's office has partnered with the Heart of Lincoln Square Neighbors to raise additional funds in hopes of sharing this opportunity with more families.
