I am running so the greyhounds don’t have to!
My name is Christine Dorchak and I am the co-founder and President of GREY2K USA Worldwide. On July 17, I will be running a 5K race in Lowell, Massachusetts to raise funds for the nearly 2,000 greyhounds running for their lives in the USA and as many as 100,000 worldwide! Please help me earn $50,000 to fund the biggest campaign ever to stop dog racing in its tracks!
At West Virginia's Mardi Gras and Wheeling Island tracks, over 5,000 dogs have been injured since 2015. Since 2021 alone, over 2,400 greyhound injuries were reported and 42 dogs died. GT's Cocobolo had a heart attack at the age of three. One-year-old Flying Betty Lou crushed her skull in a practice race. And poor Living Fast died of a seizure in his cage. He was only two years old.
We can't let this go on any longer.
