At ALPFA New York, Christian has held multiple board leadership roles since 2012 and currently leads the ALPFA Ventures initiative with a goal to change the investment landscape by expanding Latino representation of investors in the global innovation economy. Since inception in 2021, ALPFA Ventures has amplified 28 Investors and Founders across different industries through numerous activations and has given over $30K in equity free grants to founders at our National Convention pitch competition.
Christian Narvaez is a New York City Native, Founder and Managing Partner of Rayo Capital Group (Rayo), an early stage investor in the digital assets economy. Most recently, he was a Partner at Inception Capital, a $100MM early-stage venture capital fund that backs the leading founders and asset managers across Asia and the West. Before that, he was an investor at Rebel One Ventures, where his focus was on investing in early-stage startups within the FinTech/Web3 ecosystems.
From 2010 to 2020, he spent 10 years on Wall Street in New York City, covering clients in both the U.S. domestic market and Latin America, with his last role as an Investment Banker at BNP Paribas Corporate & Institutional Banking. He currently sits on the boards of The Blockchain Acceleration Foundation (BAF) as well as the Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA). Christian has a B.A. in Economics with a minor in Spanish Literature from Baruch College.
