The CSYO operates year-round and is one of the Charleston Symphony's most deeply impactful initiatives in developing and nurturing young musicians. As a member of the CSYO program, students receive access to:
- Performances in world-class venues such as the Gaillard Center
- Coachings and sectionals with CSO musicians
- Side by side rehearsals and performances with CSO musicians
- Special scholarships opportunities
- Volunteer opportunities
- Complimentary tickets to CSO Masterworks performances
