DJC is 4 years old, and we couldn't have reached this milestone without you!
In 4 short years, our community has rallied behind us and helped us accomplish so much:
We defended our community by directly representing #BLM protesters & victims of police brutality.
We went on the offense and helped build up community land trusts and worker-owned cooperatives, so Detroiters have affordable housing and sustainable employment for generations.
We continued to dream about alternatives to punitive justice by establishing the region's first restorative justice network.
Sustain DJC for another 4 years!
Cass Technical High School's National Honor Society students donated $400 to DJC.
Make a reverse matching gift of $100 for each $1 the students gave and we'll raise $40,400 for our birthday!
Commit to give at least $25 a year for the next four years — or make a minimum gift of $100 — and, as a show of our gratitude, we'll immediately welcome you into our brand new Freedom Dream Sustainers program.
Freedom Dream Sustainers are the recurring donors who sustain DJC for the long haul. They receive special engagement opportunities, like invitations to live podcast recordings & trainings; impact updates & action alerts; first dibs on volunteer opportunities; and more.
Detroit youth are showing up for their future — now it's your turn! Make a birthday gift to DJC by the end of April to automatically join our Freedom Dream Sustainer community.
