We have incredible news !
Liveloula is now an officially registered NGO in Greece
This milestone gives us deeper roots and wider branches — a stronger platform to create projects, welcome your support with transparency, and expand our impact on the land.
Here’s where we dream of dedicating our time and energy next:
1. Restore a wetland that was turned into a field — an important habitat for fire salamanders and diverse nesting birds. Bringing it back to life means bringing back biodiversity.
2. Install a natural pond — a vital water catchment and holding system. These climate-balancing, life-giving basins become the heart of thriving plant and animal communities.
3. Revive and diversify an abandoned orchard — improving the soil, reshaping the landscape for better water flow, removing sickly trees, and planting a rich variety of food-producing species to turn it into a lush, resilient food forest.
4. Grow our team of facilitators, trainers, and gardeners so we can host more Erasmus projects and reach more young people, introducing them to nature-based, holistic ways of living. Environmental education remains our main reason for being.
5. Steward more degraded land back into health — transforming poisoned fields into organic havens for wildlife and reviving the entire bioregion. Our vision is to create safe spaces where wildlife can thrive — every orchard we turn organic becomes a sanctuary and a resting place for countless creatures.
Many local farmers feel economically pressured to keep using chemicals that harm the land. We want to offer them hopeful alternatives: to lease or buy land and seed it with locally trained youth who can steward these orchards back into health. Together, we can turn struggling fields into living classrooms, food forests, and thriving habitats for all creatures.
