Inside of our shelter
We have been taking care of cats since 2017. And currently we have about 30 cats in our shelter. Momo and Bell, 2 of our baby kittens are fighting with FIP disease and the medical bills are sky rocketing due to the oncoming inflation. If things continue the way the are, there is a high chance we will have to stop the treatment altogether... The purpose of this project is to get some help in order to complete the FIP treatment for Momo and Bell.

The hardest part of Cats and Tatami is that we are covering all the expenses out of our own pockets. Yes, all of them. Some people might think "If you cannot pay for this, why do you do it?" But after seeing so many cats abandoned on the street asking for some help, how can I ignore them? If I don't help, who will?

And with this inflation going on, it's getting harder and harder to take care of the cats nowadays. But I do not want to give up. So I would like to ask for some help from you.
With this project, we truly believe we can improve the FIP treatment in Japan as well as increasing awareness for what we have been doing. We hope it will make some social impact regarding the responsibilities of owning cats even if it is just a minor one.
