Carter has been selected to participate in the prestigious New Balance Future Stars Series Underclass Combine in Nashville, TN. He needs your help to make this dream a reality. The players are not charged a fee to participate but instead get the opportunity to raise funds for Future Stars Series Foundation. The players have a chance to earn stipends towards their expenses just by helping raise money for the Future Stars Series.
Meet Carter: Carter Willingham is 14 years old and in the 8th grade. He attends Whitehouse Junior High. Carter is a multi-sport athlete that loves playing football, basketball, baseball, and track. He lives with his parents and older brother who also played baseball. Carter leans on God for guidance and direction. My favorite bible verse is John 14:1.
Carter shares his favorite baseball memory: "I hit a Homerun over the fence at a World Series and my grandparents got to see."
Carter also shares what attending the NBFSS Underclass Combine means to him: "It means a lot to me because it gives me opportunities that not many kids my age gets to experience. I’m excited about traveling, meeting new people, working with experienced athletes, and to show off my skills."
The New Balance Future Stars Series is not just about discovering and developing the MLB Heros of tomorrow. It’s about discovering and developing the leaders of tomorrow by creating real opportunities where they don’t exist today: opportunities for education, opportunities to give back to their community… opportunities for a future. We are incredibly grateful that Carter Willingham is a part of this chapter in our mission to CHANGE THE GAME!
Up to 20% of all net proceeds will be donated to Future Stars Series Foundation.
