Reigning Hope Ranch provides equine assisted activities to anyone ranging from two years old and up. Equine assisted activities, more broadly known as equine therapy, is an approach that has gained traction over the last decade. EAS has been a successful tool in treatment on an enormous scale, with reasons for therapy ranging from physical disabilities, terminal illness, injury rehabilitation, emotional struggles, grief counseling, psychological disabilities, post-traumatic stress disorder, and veteran services. Because the case rate in all these categories is increasing, it is essential to develop a variety of multifaceted programs to accommodate the rising need of our community.
We ask for your help to achieve our next milestone: building an in-door riding arena and enlarging the barn so we may expand our programs and offer our services twelve months a year. This new structure will include a 70-foot diameter riding space, an area for adaptive riding equipment, and a heated viewing room. The barn expansion would have a handicap accessible restroom, a tack room, and two private offices for our licensed therapists and clients. The cost of this massive endeavor is estimated to be approximately $350,000 (+/-).
