Every year, more than 10 million dogs and 4 million cats are captured and slaughtered by this black market trade. Many of them are stolen pets. Ground zero for this horrific practice is the annual Dog Meat Festival in the city of Yulin.
Duo Duo Project teams are on the ground in China each day working to save innocent pets and strays by providing animal care, community outreach, and animal welfare advocacy programs.
