Hello, SEDS-USA family!
Another great initiative that will impact so many students in the space field: the Diversity in Space CubeSat project! This project will connect students across several engineering organizations including: AIAA, NSBE, SHPE, and SWE. Students will work together and build a cubesat for prospective launch. We can, after all, only contribute to the next era of space exploration if we all work together. On behalf of all of the SEDS-USA team, I would like to thank you for being a part of our journey.
Student Impact: Students involved with the Diversity in Space CubeSat project will hone multi-disciplinary skills, in tandem with enhancing their teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. Areas like engineering, policymaking, and business will be highlighted as students work through solutions to solve a problem in sustainability while building a functional cubesat.
Industry Impact: Following their contribution to this project, students will enter the aerospace industry as a larger network not limited by organizational lines. Having built a cubesat, students will be equipped with technical knowledge to help them break barriers in entering the industry.
We’d like to thank you again for being a part of SEDS-USA’s legacy. You make everything we do possible, and your support heralds a brighter space for everyone -- from every rocket we’ve launched to every student we’ve inspired to go further and look higher.
“Pointy end up” can be said for both a rocket and the tree,
Harper Cheyenne

Thank you to all our donors. We have come a long way!
Your donations went to chapter grants and taking students from underrepresented backgrounds to conferences like Satellite, Newspace, International Space Development Conference, among others! In these conferences our students were able to present projects, build a professional network, and in some cases, land an internship! For more information on how your donation made an impact visit our MSI report at seds.org/donate |
This year's Giving Tuesday will feature stories from students directly impacted by SEDS grants, scholarships, and initiatives. Through SEDS you directly give back to the growing space industry in one of the best ways- by creating opportunities. What are you waiting for? Join us in continuing to foster the development of the future diverse leaders in space!
