Gomde UK has been selected as one of only a small number of Western Dharma centres to receive the Yeshe De Edition of the Kangyur and Tengyur.
Created through decades of work under the guidance of H.E. Tarthang Rinpoche, this remarkable edition brings together multiple canonical traditions and preserves important texts not found in the standard Derge edition. It is the result of one of the most ambitious Buddhist text-preservation projects of recent decades, created to safeguard and transmit the Dharma for generations to come.
Until now, these sets have been distributed primarily to monasteries, nunneries and Dharma centres throughout the Himalayan world, and only a limited number remain available.
The complete collection is being offered to Gomde UK free of charge, but we need to raise approximately £4,000 to cover the cost of transporting it safely to the UK.
If 100 people donate £40 each, we can bring this extraordinary collection to Gomde and make it available to practitioners, students and researchers for many years to come.
