Our Goal
We’re working to bring the Intermediate level back to Texas Rose Horse Trials by this fall—but we can’t do it without your help.
Texas Rose has long been a cornerstone for Area V, and for years it has been the only venue able to host Intermediate and Advanced levels. While many venues in our area have stopped hosting rated events, Texas Rose has remained committed—hosting three events each year and supporting our community when it needed it most.
Lower levels in Area V are thriving, but opportunities disappear as riders move up. Currently, competitors must travel 8+ hours to run at the upper levels. Many end up leaving the area entirely or for part of the year. To keep our sport strong and sustainable in the South, we need a local venue that supports riders at every level.
That’s where you come in!
Your donation will go directly toward rebuilding the Intermediate cross-country course. While some existing jumps can be refurbished, many new ones must be built. For perspective:
- A frangible table costs $2,500+
- A corner or skinny costs $1,500+
- An Intermediate course often consists of 20–27 jumping efforts
As you can imagine, this is a significant, but vital, investment.
Once the course is ready, we need riders too! If you have an upper-level horse, mark your calendar for Texas Rose this Fall!
