Dear Friends of Bridge School,
As our country becomes increasingly polarized, it is tempting to go inward, tune out the dissonance, and harden our hearts. But with kids around, that just can’t happen. They remind us to laugh at ourselves, embrace the mess, and get outside together. They ask tough questions that stop us in our tracks and need to be answered with humility, kindness, and compassion. In short, the privilege of having kids at Bridge School at this moment in time is that we get to live the values instilled in every student.

Your donation directly supports the continued impact of Bridge School, where kids learn to love learning, deepen their self confidence, and feel a profound sense of connection, belonging, and responsibility for the well being of their community. Bridge graduates aren’t just prepared to thrive academically; they are also equipped to be grounded, creative, and kind community members wherever their lives may take them. In short, the value of a Bridge education and its ripple effect on the world is priceless.
To keep Bridge School’s magic alive and well, there are many practical aspects of maintaining and improving the school that are not possible without additional support. Here’s a glimpse into how your donation can help:
$25 Diversifies our library book collection
$125 Tunes the school’s piano
$300 Provides bus transportation to Rikert for a day of nordic skiing
$500 Supplies fresh wood chips for the playgrounds
$1,000+ Funds more equitable access to a Bridge education through scholarships
$5,000 Supports larger facilities renovations and expansion
If you are unable to give this time, please consider asking others in your circle who may be inspired to help. We know for many families, budgets are already stretched this time of year. So if you are able to give more, please do, and know that your generosity helps fill the gap for those who are unable to make a monetary contribution to the school. We are also always looking for volunteers to help out with our committee projects, work days, winter week class teaching, and more. To learn more about these opportunities, reach out to Barn Buddies at volunteer@bridgeschoolvermont.org.
