Brayden has been selected to participate in the prestigious New Balance Future Stars Series Underclass Elite at Fenway Park in Boston, MA. He needs your help to make this dream a reality. The players are not charged a fee to participate but instead get the opportunity to raise funds for Future Stars Series Foundation and St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital. The players have a chance to earn stipends towards their expenses just by helping raise money for these great causes.
Meet Brayden: Brayden Smith has been playing baseball since he was 3 years old. He attends Los Gatos High School and is a sophomore playing varsity this year. Outside of baseball, he likes to work out and hang out with friends and family. Brayden participates in Boys Team Charity and is a Christian.
Brayden shares his favorite baseball memory: "My favorite baseball memory would have to be when I was 10 years old, a dad from the opposing team told the pitcher to bean me with the bases loaded and on the next pitch, I hit a grand slam."
Brayden also shares what attending the NBFSS Underclass Elite means to him: "For me, attending this signature event is an honor and I feel blessed to be picked to participate in this prestigious event. I am looking forward to showcasing my talents in front of major league scouts and getting on-field training from the best coaches."
The New Balance Future Stars Series is not just about discovering and developing the MLB Heros of tomorrow. It’s about discovering and developing the leaders of tomorrow by creating real opportunities where they don’t exist today: opportunities for education, opportunities to give back to their community… opportunities for a future. We are incredibly grateful that Brayden Smith is a part of this chapter in our mission to CHANGE THE GAME!
