Join us on a summer quest to provide books for children in Brazil in partnership with Holistica Foundation and Cultured Kids.
For every $12 raised between August 1-31, two books will be given to one child.
Help Maris Support Literacy in Brazil!
On her 12th birthday, Maris Goldshlag, a rising 7th grader at Grace Community Church, was tasked by her parents with a quest: to complete six goals before turning 13 as a "right of passage" into adulthood.
As one of the goals, Maris chose to execute a Kids Event that would also serve as a fundraiser to support literacy in Brazil.
Grace Community Church has taken an active role in her progress, contributing to her community service hours, Bible reading, and Kids Event.
As an avid reader herself, Maris believes every child should have books!
