“Return to the Body”
A fundraiser for Narah’s Bodywork Studio
There are moments in life when everything changes, when the ground beneath us shifts, and the only way forward is through. The last few years have brought Narah to her knees and, in many ways, even deeper into her body.
After moving through the grief of a separation and stepping into the unrelenting responsibility of single mama life raising five children, Narah was brought face to face with a deeper breaking, when her daughter was in a harrowing car accident two years ago. The kind of event that stops time. That rearranges everything.
What followed was survival. Advocacy. Care. Exhaustion. And, slowly, over time, an initiation. Not back to who she was, but into something new. Something quieter. More in-tune. More alive.
It’s from this place that Narah’s bodywork continues to emerge. Not as a modality, but as a continual and lived practice.
A Personal Note from Narah
“This work is not something I do—it’s who I am. And after years of holding my family, and especially my daughter, through crisis and recovery, I am at a place where I need to return to this work.
Not just because I love it.
Not just because I believe in it with every cell of my body.
But because I need to. Financially. Emotionally. Spiritually.I’m ready to be in the room again. One-to-one. Skin to skin. Tending with heart and hands.
If you’re feeling the call to return to your body, I would be honoured to walk with you.”
What This Space Is
It’s a space to rest.
To feel.
To remember.
To be met, without needing to explain or perform.
It’s a space for people who are carrying a lot, who are healing slowly, who are trying to find their way back to themselves.
The Work
Somatic Bodywork
Gentle, intuitive, and grounded in deep listening. Every session is shaped by your body’s signals and boundaries. Nothing rushed. Nothing forced.
Touch for Nervous System Repair
For those whose bodies have been holding grief, trauma, or hyper-vigilance for far too long. Sessions support down-regulation and a soft return to the earth and trust.
Sensual Reawakening
Honouring sensuality not as something sexualised, but as presence. As aliveness. For those exploring relationship with their sensuality in a safe, deeply earthen space.
Why It Matters
Because we live in a culture that demands speed when what we need is slowness.
That asks us to override when what we need is to listen.
That tells us to move on when what we really need is to be held.
A Personal Note from Narah
“The last few years have taken me to the edge. There were times I didn’t know how I would make it through. And yet—what kept me going was the wisdom of the body. The quiet pulse of life, even in the hardest moments.
This work is sacred to me because I’ve lived it. I’ve touched grief, rage, beauty, and grace with my bare hands. I’ve learned to trust my body again—over and over.
If you’re in a place of re-entry, reckoning, or just deep fatigue—I see you. There’s room here for all of it.”
