With all that Bob has given to the sport and all of us, it is fitting to recognize him for his 40th Birkie. We know he would like to see his love of cross-country skiing energize and provide future generations with Nordic opportunities and healthful fun. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to the “Bob Richards Fund” and adding new schools to the Nordic Rocks program in Illinois.


Currently, 11 schools in Illinois introduce over 3,000 students to the joy of cross-country skiing each year. With your generous contribution, we aim to add one school per year to the Nordic Rocks Program in Illinois. Your donation will assist in acquiring 30-32 sets of Nordic Rocks skis and poles to equip an entire school!

"Our 4th and 5th grade PE classes loved learning the basics of cross-country skiing this past year with Nordic Rocks equipment. Also, our first-ever after-school Cross Country Ski Club was a lot of fun with our inaugural 5 skiers. Our Melrose Park Mustangs “Rocked It" with our Nordic Rocks equipment!" - Pete Finger, Physical Education teacher.
