What is the True North Foundation?
At the True North Foundation, we work directly with veteran nonprofits across the country to help promote and support their missions through financial contributions and volunteering, where we use our time, knowledge, and connections to benefit our partners.
Why give to True North this Giving Tuesday?
True North was founded by Greg Parsons, a Marine Corps veteran, whose transition from military service to civilian life was a struggle. With the guidance of fellow veterans who taught him how to translate his skillset to the civilian world, Parsons was able to find
fulfillment professionally and personally. Understanding that his personal story was not unique, he decided to focus his time and energy on organizations that support transitioning veterans.
The True North Foundation’s goal is to make the most significant impact in the veteran nonprofit world by supporting organizations that directly help their local communities.
