The Big Al Foundation was created by Kyle Detling in honor of his father Alan Detling, who served as a loving husband, father, and a dedicated Baltimore City firefighter for over 20 years. The Big Al Foundation is dedicated to raising awareness for cancer research and donating money for first responders and their families who are in need. The Big Al Foundation is run by a board of trustees who either serve as first responders or have a dedicated passion for helping the first responders who selflessly help us every day. We strongly believe in fighting for those who fight for us.
