Barclays Bank is one of the largest financial institutions in the world and has been involved in financing the fossil fuel industry for many years. However, the bank’s involvement in this industry has come under scrutiny in recent years due to the considerable environmental damage caused by the extraction and burning of fossil fuels.
We made these posters to confront the power of their public relations advertising and environmental injustices.
The guild would like to print 100 for installation in interesting places where they will be seen by many people. The size we want to print them in is called 6sheet and measures 47.24'' x 70.87'' or 1.2m x 1.8m. They cost approximately £5 each if we buy 100 of them but we need your help with this cost, even small donations go a long way.
