At 34 years old, Ben Bernier died young, but not before he was able to make a positive impact on hundreds of lives in his mid-coast Maine community by caring and helping wherever he could. When Ben met someone who was hungry, discouraged, or needed a little boost, he stepped up and lent a hand. Our work is to ensure that through Ben’s example we strengthen our community by upholding and nurturing programs that sustain individuals in need.
The Ben Bernier Memorial Foundation is not affiliated with a specific program, but instead is affiliated with a specific area – our mid-coast Maine community. Our Foundation helps an underserved population, encouraging and supporting innovative techniques and ideas, and providing support to existing critical local agencies.
