Our project is aimed to support trans women who offer sexual services on the streets of Guatemala. Our target populations, in addition to belong to a discriminated and violated community, have a shortage of economic resources. The main objective of the project is to provide them with an opportunity to study or train in a profession that allows them to obtain economic income in a more secure way. Due to the pandemic, our project has had to restructure because all the studios are in virtual mode. This means that trans women who get support from a scholarship must have a laptop, tablet or at least a smartphone where they can have their classes virtually. First, we want them to be able to have one of these devices to facilitate the study process. Second, we want to give them the opportunity to pay for their studies, as well as all the instruments or tools they need. Third, we want to offer talks to empower them on issues about their rights.
