Barney's 14th birthday fundraiser for Alpet Poundies

To celebrate Barney's 14th birthday, we're raising funds to support the tireless work of Linda and Tony at Alpet Poundies Rescue. If you've ever loved a dog, please give now to help them comfort and care for dogs in need.

Distressed and confused to lose his owner and his home at 13 years old, Lab x Collie Barney was taken in by Alpet Poundies Rescue and, 6 months ago, we adopted him. Today Barney has reached the grand old age of 14 and is our happy, loyal companion, bringing us joy every day - thanks to Alpet Poundies Rescue.

Alpet Poundies Rescue gives a safe haven to abandoned and unwanted dogs that would otherwise be put to sleep. Linda and Tony work long hours every day to care for them and find them new loving homes. They depend on donations to help cover the cost of providing food, shelter and veterinary treatment.

We adopted Millie in January, she was homed at the rescue with a pack of other female beagles back in November. We cannot love Millie any more than we do, she is a beautiful and kind animal who has brought so much joy into our lives. Linda and Tony are legends for doing what they do with these animals, no matter what species they're always there to help, to give a home until they have found their saving grace. I wish I could give more to support them both, we will be eternally grateful for everything they've ve done and for looking after our Millie ❤️❤️ Keep up the good work, your doing amazing jobs
