Fire in the Hills

"Fire in the Hills Returns" Fire in the Zurich Hills, written by Joseph Stoll, recounts the spiritual awakening that took place between 1525 and 1533 in the Zurich Switzerland area.  The Reformation had begun and was accelerated by "radical reformers" who were meeting to worship, pray, and study the Scriptures.  Those who met were hungry to know the will of God and to live it.  They believed there was a cost to this - wholehearted devotion and obedience to God.

These "radical reformers" were called "Anabaptists".  Today, we know many of them as the Amish and Mennonites.  For years it has been the desire of many people to experience a genuine move of God in our region of Ohio that is known as "Amish Country".  This desire has manifested itself in seasons of prayer and fasting, believing God's words in 2 Chronicles 7:14 - "If my people who are called by My Name humble themselves, and pray, and seek My Face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land."

Recently, many of these  like-minded people have discovered each other and have come together to pray, to dream, and to collaborate on hosting a public event focused on worship and the declaration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  This event is to take place July 7-10, 2022 at the Timbercrest Campground on State Route 515, Walnut Creek, Ohio.

The theme for this event is "Fire in the Hills".  All are welcome to attend any of the activities.  It has been said history can and often does repeat itself.  This being so, we cry out.  "Do it again, Lord".

Your donation with "Fire in the Hills" allows your seed to go directly to the work of bringing the return of the Fire of God to the descendants of those radical reformers.
