Vermont to NYC August 16, 2025: Stop Starving Gaza!

The U.S.-Israeli blockade of Gaza has created a devastating hunger crisis that worsens daily as Palestinians continue to die of starvation and malnutrition. Trump has greenlit this Israeli starvation regime, while the U.S.-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation has weaponized hunger instead of ending it.  Now, reports show the United States is working with Israel to tie future aid to Israeli plans for full occupation.

Now is the time to take to the streets. A broad coalition of organizations and people from all walks of life from all across the country are coming together in massive numbers in New York City to show the world that the people of the United States will not allow this starvation to be waged in our name.

Vermonters will ride together in a bus down to New York City in an entirely volunteer-funded effort to participate. We will be gathering in the parking lot at 115 Lakeside Ave in Burlington at 5:00am and departing from there at 5:30am sharp on the morning of Saturday, August 16th. We will also be gathering at 499 Canal St in Brattleboro at 7:15am and departing at about 7:45am. We will arrive in New York City at Bryant Park just after 12pm. After the action, we will board the buses at 7pm on the same day in order to arrive back in Brattleboro at about 11pm and Burlington at about 1am.

Vermonters will ride together in a bus down to New York City in an entirely volunteer-funded effort to participate. We will gather at 115 Lakeside Ave in Burlington at about 4:30am, 499 Canal St in Brattleboro at about 7:15am and 1 MGM Way in Springfield, MA, at about 8:30am. We we will drop off in Springfield at about 10:15pm, Brattleboro at about 11:15pm, and Burlington at about 2am. Further details will be shared after registration.
