The K-9 Memorial Fund assists the Alaska State Troopers when there is loss of one of their K-9 officers. Established and managed by the Fraternal Order of Alaska State Troopers, a 501c(3) Charity Corporation, the fund assists in covering the costs directly associated with the replacement of K-9s and their related training, which can cost as much as $25,000 per dog to be street-ready.
