Launched by The Person Center, the African Survivor Support, Empowerment, and Transformation project (ASSET) is a mental health therapy group offered to African survivors of domestic violence. The purpose of the ASSET project is to develop a one-of-a-kind experience for African survivors to develop community with peers and to participate in evidence-based mental healthcare, thus curating an opportunity to address the gap between medical treatment and sociocultural emotional support.
