By supporting us financially, we can continue to expand our resources and support opportunities for families of loss. This will enable us to reach more souls who are grieving the loss of their child and who are in need of support from a Catholic perspective.
A monthly gift of $5, $10, $15, or $25 will allow us to budget financially for the new programs we have planned for 2024. Here are the 4 impact programs for 2024.
- The Good Shepherd Program Dissemination
- A formation and continuing education program for clergy to help families with grief. (Priests and Deacons do not receive formation in seminary to help families deal with their grief.)
- The Body Project
- After meeting with mothers of loss one-on-one, we understood a common theme: women struggled to love their bodies after pregnancy loss. Words that kept circling “I hate my body.” “My body failed my baby.” “My womb is a tomb.” This program will help mothers of loss restore their love for their bodies after a loss and help parents of loss understand how grief manifests itself within the body.
- Spanish Translation of Materials
- Translation of all our materials to serve our Spanish-speaking Catholics.
- Expansion Project of 17 new chapters (dioceses) in our pipeline
- Less than 5% of Catholic parishes invest in bereavement ministry. This expansion project will help us to train leaders in 17 new dioceses we have identified leaders in.
