American Foundation for National Museums Scotland

The American Foundation helps to connect Scotland to the world and the world to Scotland. It supports projects at the National Museums Scotland, a group of world-class museums that inform, educate and inspire visitors from around the world. The activities and collections preserve, interpret and make accessible for all the past and present of Scotland, of other nations and cultures, and of the natural world. AFNMS also holds events for its donors, patrons, and others in the US that explore the National Museums collections and allow those in the US the opportunity to experience the Museums as well. Donations underwrite the broad scope of AFNMS activities, from exhibitions in Scotland, to conservation, research, education, and US programming. Thank you for your generous support.
