As a tax-exempt organization under section 501 (c) (3) of the United States Internal Revenue code, the American Foundation enables supporters in the United States to further the National Museums’ work with tax-deductible donations.

Under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, we are exempt from federal income tax. This contribution is deductible for United States federal income tax purposes to the extent provided by law.
