Alvin Tedjo is a father of three, a dedicated public servant, and a passionate advocate for families, communities, and the environment.
“Ward 2 residents need effective and competent representation on City and Regional councils. There are many issues facing residents as we continue to tackle the post-pandemic recovery, while ensuring we continue to support families, businesses, and our community.”
Alvin has a long history of advocating for families and his community, including as a champion for education, child care and expanding parental leave. Over the course of his career, he has worked for municipal and provincial governments, as well as at Sheridan College and Toronto Metropolitan University. He was recognized as Mississauga’s Young Citizen of the Year and was named a Top 40 Under 40 by the Brampton Board of Trade.
“I was raised in Mississauga and I’m raising my three children here in Ward 2. Mississauga is a city that believes in Leading Today for Tomorrow, and that future needs leaders who are committed to service, community, and vision. I have always been an advocate for communities, affordability, families, and education during my career and I know I can put my experience and passion for public service to work for my neighbours here in Ward 2.”
To be eligible to receive a rebate, donors must be eligible to vote in Ontario, be at least 18 years of age, and a Canadian citizen.
- 75% of the first $300 of your donation for a rebate of up to $225;
- 50% of the next $700 for an additional rebate of up to $350;
- 33% of the next $200 for an additional rebate of up to $66.
