Alpha Gamma Sigma (AGS), established in 1926, is the official academic honor society of the California Community College system.
AGS is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization under IRS EIN 95-6074793, and contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law.
AGS is a volunteer-run organization — there are no paid staff members. All faculty advisors, officers, and board members contribute their time and expertise in service to student leadership, scholarship, and community engagement.
All revenue collected by AGS, including dues and donations, is directed entirely toward student programs, scholarships, statewide conventions, and activities that advance academic excellence and service learning.
