Each year, about 66% of graduating high school students in the United States enroll in college. Unfortunately, potential debt is a barrier to higher education that worries far too many students. Studies show that nearly 70% of college students graduate with an average amount of debt over $30,000. Tuition rates also continue to climb each year. Our young people need help to continue their education without the knowledge that a huge debt is waiting for them on graduation day.
We can lighten that load-- People like you and me. People like us who will commit to investing in our young people’s futures. With your help, the Armond J. Farrar (AJF) Scholarship & Achievement Foundation, Inc. will provide financial support by awarding scholarships to college and career students, at all levels that have excelled both academically and within their community.
The AJF Scholarship & Achievement Foundation, Inc. was founded in 2016 to provide financial assistance to postsecondary education students who have exhibited academic success, leadership, and community involvement. Since our inception, we have awarded over $120,000 to our awardees. In 2023, we were fortunate enough to award $27,500 spread across 23 outstanding students. Your generous support will help increase the number of scholarships we are able to award.
