The implementation of the "Pharmacy for Pregnant Women" project in Bo, Sierra Leone is driven by the urgent need for improved maternal healthcare access. According to recent health reports, a significant number of pregnant women in Bo face challenges in obtaining essential medications and prenatal care. Limited awareness, financial constraints, and the absence of specialized services for pregnant women in local pharmacies contribute to this issue. To address this gap, our project seeks to provide a dedicated space within pharmacies, ensuring pregnant women have access to necessary medications, supplements, and expert advice. By doing so, we aim to positively impact maternal and child health outcomes in the community.
