As a member of this team, you are in good company. You are referred to whenever there is a topic of relevance to your expertise. So, this is quite a responsibility that benefits you scholastically, professionally, and socially. We expect African Views associates to be highly self-motivated, confident, and capable professionals for the challenges of their position. Based on your interest and expertise, you are working in our fast-growing departments, including research, media, and development - implementation, technical supervision and operations, programs, and strategic partnerships in your country and within the global community. A member must continue to interact professionally within culturally diverse settings and cultivate working productively in collaborative settings. We expect members to maintain strong character traits, including gender and cultural sensitivity, and function independently to a large degree.
The objective of the African Views framework is not merely to collect facts, or to generate content, or conduct events but to interpret facts in such a way that reflect the call and need of timeless principles of the will of all peoples to reach consensus for collaborating to improve existing cultural potentials for human and societal sustenance, sovereign development and effectiveness.
In addition to your primary assignments, we invite you to expand the African Views student chapter in colleges and universities around you. Our fundamental goal is to cover and report all African and African Diaspora from various aspects of societal life. This strategy is key to bringing together the ideas and the consensus required to improve human conditions in many developing countries worldwide.
To achieve this goal, we need to put together a team of interns and volunteers interested in journalism, videographers, photographers, writers, reporters, outreach directors in schools, communities across Africa, and its Diaspora. The AV framework provides the repository of all information collected and how its processed and implemented. Many of our members contribute according to their acquired ability, interests, and inherent talent
According to their capacity and interest, all members can participate in African Views programs and Projects and represent African Views at various institutional conferences, including UN, AU, and other institutional activities.
