AFA FOUNDATION

Who are we?

Inspired by the remarkable work of the vibrant Athletics For All community, located in Azusa and surrounding San Gabriel Valley, the AFA Foundation was incorporated on February 6, 2025 as a 501c3 nonprofit organization. 

AFA Foundation’s mission is to ensure athletics, education, and community resources are accessible to all. 

We envision a world where success is not determined by your zip code and access to opportunities is not limited by your socio-economic status.

AFA Foundation’s online fundraising* goal is $20,000 by the end of December 2026. 

*All donations from the fundraiser will be used to help get the AFA Foundation started and contribute to our scholarship funds!

A message from our co-founders:

At the heart of this nonprofit lies a simple yet powerful belief: every child deserves the opportunity to pursue their academic and athletic dreams, regardless of their circumstances.

Across communities, countless bright and motivated students dream of accessing higher education, but face financial, systemic, or personal barriers that make their goals feel out of reach.

That’s why we created the AFA Foundation—to open doors that might otherwise remain closed and keep them open. Through scholarships, fitness, and community support, we strive to provide and create spaces of opportunity for students to invest in their future.

We believe in our students. We believe in community. And we believe in the transformative power of education.
