Are you ready for some exciting news? We made it all the way from Aberdeen to Salina, Kansas, and we couldn't be more thrilled! We're here to participate in the AACTFest Region V festival, and we're eager to showcase our talent and learn from other community theaters.
This festival is part of a multi-year process that culminates in a national festival held in odd-numbered years, and we're proud to say that ACT has entered this festival cycle every year since its inception in 1981.
As a part of the process, each state chooses a community theater production to represent it at the regional level, and we're honored to be representing South Dakota in Region V, which includes Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
But here's the thing: we need your help! We're trying to raise $6,000 to pay for this trip, and we've already traveled all the way down here. Your donations now will make the biggest difference and ensure that we can continue to participate in this fantastic festival. We've raised just over half of what we need, and every donation counts.
