It's an exciting time at FCC Tacoma and the Center for Spirituality & the Arts! As we co-create a space of welcome, artistic expression, music and cross-cultural collaboration, we are overjoyed to be a studio home now to six local teaching artists and musicians. As we work to expand our free music lesson program for children and youth through the Center for Spirituality & the Arts, we are excited about what new opportunities we can accomplish on the horizon, including individual and group art classes/projects, yoga instruction, digital music & video production and community jam sessions.
To continue living into our vision to be a place of vibrant welcome, we need your help. We are seeking to raise $2,000 in order to redesign the hallways and staircase/landing of the Education Building. As this building serves as home to our artists' studios, our Nursery, and a community library/study space, artists Tori Fields and Mindy Barker have teamed up to create a dynamic redesign of these common areas so as to foster a spirit vibrant welcome, creative collaboration and discovery.
Our fundraising goal will cover all needed materials and compensation to Tori and Mindy for their work.
