As we step into a New Year, we are reminded of the importance of compassion, responsibility, and seva (selfless service).
In Barsana, Mathura (Uttar Pradesh, India), Shri Mataji Gaushala provides shelter, care, and medical support to a very large number of cows, including those that are abandoned, injured, elderly, or rescued from unsafe conditions. Ensuring timely veterinary care is essential to their welfare.
Through Uphaar Seva Welfare Trust (UK Registered Charity CIO), we are raising funds to support the purchase of a dedicated Cow Ambulance, which will be used to transport injured and unwell cows safely for urgent medical treatment in 2026.
A properly equipped ambulance can significantly improve response times and animal welfare outcomes, helping to reduce suffering and improve recovery.
Fundraising Goal
Β£15,000 β to contribute towards the purchase and setup of one Cow Ambulance.
